Dr. Swati Bisht is an Associate Professor in Marketing and Director Training & Placement at Doon University, Dehradun (A State Govt University). She is currently the Coordinator for the Masters in Urban Development Management program at Doon University. A multitasking professional, she has over 22 years of rich experience in Teaching, Research, and academic administration. She is a Ph.D. in Marketing & branding and an MBA. Dr Bisht’s professional journey spans around several key positions all centered around Institution building like Dean PGDM, Dean International Linkages, Dean Training & Placement and Dean Admissions & Branding. Dr. Bisht, is an active member of GALTER (Global Academy of Law-Tech Education and Research). In the past, she has also been a member of Govt. Taskforce in Uttarakhand to develop curriculum on Skill Development (Professional Skill Enhancement) for the Govt teachers from the state of Uttarakhand. In the year 2021 she has also received the Women Excellence Award for her exemplary work in Training & Placement by the International Leadership Development Council in the year 2021.In 2023, Dr Bisht received Prof Indira Parekh ‘Women in Education Award’ and in the year 2024 she received the ‘Teacher of the Year Award’““Some of her noteworthy publications have been published in journals by Springer, Taylor & Francis and Inderscience. She has chaired technical sessions in national and international conferences and seminars organized by institutions of global eminence.
