About The Book

With the advent of mechanization of agriculture, production has tremendously increased to a great extent whereas the livestock husbandry is observed to be at the other side of scale but these two components are the chief base for rural development. Therefore, the major objective of this book is to examine the mechanization of agriculture and the livestock husbandry by selecting Devi Patan Plain of Uttar Pradesh as a case study and blocks and the selected sampled villages as the unit. The present book on 'Mechanization of Agriculture and Livestock Husbandry' would be of great relevance to the Geographers, Demographers, and Agricultural and Social Scientists that are associated with the research, the regional development, planning, policy and management.
