Dr. S. Mishra has credit to his all higher qualifications B.A. (Hons.) Pol. Sc., M.A. (Pol. Sc.) and M.Phil., at present he is an Assist. Professor. He is teaching the subject for last fifteen years. He has attended a number of conferences and seminars and has several articles to his credit. He is also pursuing his Ph.D.

About The Book

India has followed a different path of development from many other countries. India went more quickly from agriculture to services that tend to be less tightly regulated than heavy industry. That said there are some emerging manufacturing giants in the Indian economy. India's growth has been impressive in recent years but this is a country whose development hampered by endemic structural problems. India requires significant invesment in infrastructure, manufacturing and agriculture for the rapid growth rates of the last fifteen to twenty years to be sustained.
