Dr. Ramesh Kumar Sangwan (M.Phil, Ph.D.) is at present Scientist-B at ICMR-Desert Medicine Research Centre, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He has also taught in Government College, Loharu, Bhiwani, Department of Economics, M.D. University, Rohtak, Haryana and worked as Adolescent Health Counsellor at the General Hospital, Charkhi Dadri, Haryana. He has been awarded the University Research Scholarship for Doctoral study. He has presented research papers in several national and international conferences. He has published number of papers in various journals and edited books. The book titled “Health, Human Rights and Ethics” and “Health, Hygiene and Lifestyle” also goes to his credit. Dr. Devinder Kumar (M.Phil, Ph.D.) is at present Psychiatric Social Worker at BPS Government Medical College for Women Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat, Haryana. He has presented research papers in several national and international conferences. He has published number of papers in various journals. The book titled “Health and Society: A Study of Mental Illness” also goes to his credit.

About The Book

Sociology of health encompasses many areas of concern, diverse approaches, and varied perspectives.
